SPANISH ITEMS.
Queen-Regent Christina has asked Don Sagasta to reconstruct his Cabinet but it is considered that he will have a difficult task in filling the places of his colleagues. The newspapers advise that reinforcemants should be sent to the northern provinces of Spain to repress^ the Carlist movement. Don Praxedes Mateo Sagasta's old Cabinet has resumed office. The popular sentiment has reverted to the prosecution of the war.
