Captain Edwin wires to-day:— Wind — Strong from between V\ . and S.W. and S. at all places northward of Napier and New P.ynoouth, and gales from same direction at all other places. Barometer further rise everywhere Frost is probable at all places southward of Thames and Manakau and very cold weather in the northern districts.
