The Changeable Weather.
SICKNESS PREVALENT IN NEW ZEALAND. Changes of season bavc variable effects upon different individuals (writes a medical authoriiy), but none feel a change in the season so quickly as the fair sex, who by reason of their delicate organism are particularly prone to exterior influences. There is a deal of sickness now right throughout Australia. Galling round to see a lady friend of mine, Mr 9 Margaret Boss of Rathdown and Palmerston streets, Melbourne, the 0 her afternoon, I found myself during a chat, gathering material whioh has assisted me considerably in ' writing this article, " I have been a great sufferer from neuralgia for ten or twelve years," remarked Mrs Boss apropos of the subject, but nothing rtlieved me except Dr Williams' Pink Pills for Pale People, whioh alone have effected a cure. All changes of season proved futile to arrest j my malady. During the day time my ! sufferings were painful, but on retiring to rest, the agony I suffered was excruciating, reduciog me to a state of general collapse. I felt it during the day slightly, but most severely at night." " Did you consult any doctors at all ?" " Many ; but reoeived no permanent benefit. 1 bey gave me draughts and powder 8, but the effect was really nothing." "You, of course, have tried other remedies ?" " Yes ; I tried everything, but obtained no relief." " What induced you to try Dr Williams' Pidk Pills for Pale People ?" " An elderly lady, resident at Heathcote, 74 years of age, who had been a sufferer from rheumatism for 40 years, and who had been absolutely cured by their use, recommended me to try the Pink Pills for Pale People." " How long since might that be ?" "Six weeks sinee — the beginning of July. During the time I was taking the first box I lost only one night's rest, but sine j then I have never had the least retu;n of the old complaint." " Have you used much of the medicine ?" " About four boxes. Previous to my taking them the pain in my heard reduced me to such a state that I was on the verge of madness. The last three years I had been very bad, so you can imagine the pleasure it was to me to find a remedy that has actually made a new woman of me." "That is so," remarked Mr Boss, who was present. " Had you seen my wife a few months since and now, you would scarcely believe her to be the same woman." " Yes," added Mrs Ross, "my recovery has been most pronounced and satisfactory to me. I have great faith in Dr Williams' Pink Pills for Pale People, and recommend them wherever po sible." Congratulating Mrs Ross on her recovery and expressing a hope that the would live long to enjoy the blessing of good health, our reporter withdrew. In all cases similar to the above mentioned, Dr Williams' Pink Pills hay* been proved an undoubted specific. They build up the blood and strengthen the system in such a way a3 to prevent any ill effects occurring after influenza, colds, etc. They are also a certain cure for rheumatism, t sciatica, lumbago, lo s of physical strength debility, indigestion, and sick headaohe. Ob'ainable from all chemists and dealers, or from the Dr Williams' Medicine Co., Wellington, N.Z., who will forward six boxes for sixteen and sixpence (or one box for three shillings) post free. They restore pale and sallow complexions to the glow of health, and are a specfio for all the troubles peculiar to the iemale sex ; while in the case of men they effect a radical cure in all cases arising from mental worry, over-work, or excesses of whatev r nature.
