Accident to Mr Pirani.

! RUN OVER BY A DRAY. Last evening Mr Fred Pirani, M.H.R., while riding his bicycle to the Welling-ton-Manawatu train to see some friends away, was thrown off his machine while passing a cab, and a spring dray following behind ran over his chest, breaking three ribs, and* otherwise injuring him. He was removed to his residence, and medical aid summoned. A private telegram received stated that Mr Pirani was in a somewhat critical condition, there being a possibility of internal injuries having bcen'sustained.
