The Times says that despite official assurance?, the Tsung-li-Yamen has modified the regulations regarding the navigation of the inland waters of China, tampering with the British concessions and infringing the treaty rights Sir Claude Macdonald, British Minister at Pekin, has r. quiivd the Chinese Government to rectify the infringement.
