THE SPANISH FLEET AT SANTIAGO.
The American Government has reoeived I a telegram from Bear-Admiral Sampson Btating that six Spanish vessels at Santiago de Cuba are unable to avoid, oapture 9r qeitructiop.
Lieutenant Habaon, with seven volunteer?, purposely " torpedoed " the collier Merriway, blocking the entrance to Santiago. The whole party under Lieut. Hobson were captured, but Admiral Ceveras has offered to exchange them for Spanish prisoners held by the Americans.
