Beports from Hayti state that Commodore Sohley on Tuesday bombarded the outer batteries of Santiago de Cuba. v The attack developed into a severe fight between Admiral Cerveras* fleet at the entrance to the harbour. After a battle lasting two hours the Spaniards retired. Further details have been received as to the fighting at Santiago de Cuba.
