THE INQUEST.

At the inquest the evidence showed that there were three wounds in the throat, made with a pair of scissors. The body was found in its clothes in a box under a bed. It had been there from Sunday to Wednesday. The jury returned a verdict in accordance with the medical testimony, that death resulted from haemorrhage, bat whether it was due to wounds in the throat or an untied umbilical cord the evidence did not show.
