How to Remove Stains From Marble.

Marble is a very difficult artiste to clean if the stain has sunk into the attune. Slight stains may be removed with a jnrnice stone or with vigorous scrubs bing. Greasy stains are best removed with a p£Bte of fuller's earth applied in the same way it is to wall paper. Stains of ink on i^arble may be removed by hydrochloric acid, which is a powerful poison, and must be washed oil with water almost as soon as it is applied to prevent its eating into* the stone.
