The Much-travelled One.
A LADY AS HIS BIYAL. Mr R. S. Smythe, the well-known entrepreneur, who has successfully introduced go many artistic celebrities to southern shores and southern audiences, has earned for himself, at least in Australia, the soubriquet of " the much-travelled one.' In Sydney, however, there is a lady who has travelled very extensively, and whose frequently jonrneying, in fact, brought on an illness which ended in anamia and general debility. We refere to Mrs Johns, of 60 Yurong street. "After my last journey," she says, "I began to .feel very low and depressed in spirits. I could scarcely eat anything, and j I became very thin, whilst my face was as yellow as if I had had a severe attack of jaundice. An old friend, who met me in the street, looked me straight in the face and passed me by without recognition, and she waa positively shocked when I ran after her an^ told her who I was. I got from bad to worse*, the least exertion wearied me, and my ordinary housework became too much lor me. My gums grew quite white, and my lips looked a blueish grey color. My Bleep was restless and disturbed, and I was so tired in the mornings that! could hardly get out of bed and when I did I used to lay on the sofa, feeling I hardly oared what happened to me. I iaw a doctor, who said I needed a strong tonic, and I had several bottles of physic from him, besides other bottles of tonics which I obtained from chemists; but I grew no better. I was in this miserable and hopeless condition when I heard from someone who had been cured by them about Dr Williams' Pink Pills, and I at | once got some. After taking a few I wa3 agreeable surprised to find a real and distinct change for the better. I got rid of that miserable depression of spirits, which in itself was enough to ktep me ill, and m days I was able to sleep the night through without interruption. The Pills, too, gave me a good appetite, and I began slowly to get ehterfnl and fat again. My color came back, and after taking six boxes I was completely cured and found myself as strong as ever. I Bhall always remember my cure with gratitude, and shall, you may be sure, recommend this wonderful medicine to any of my friends who may have the bad fortune to suffer as I did." . Mrs John* is now most bright and Tivaoious, whilst the pretty pink glow of perfect health is noticeable upon her checks— a marvellous change for the better when compared with her former appearanctt Tha action of Dr. Williams' Pink Pills for Pale People is directly on the blood, and thus it is that they are so famous for the onre of an»mia, indigestion, insomnia, after-effectß of fevws, rheumatism, weak heart, scrofula, consumption, chronic erysipelas, and for restoring pale and sallow eamplsxions to the glow of health.
