The Serious Illnes of Mr Dan Barry.

There is no man with whom the theatrical and theatre-going publio of Australasia are better acquainted than Mr Dan Barry, the popular actor-manager of the Alexandra Theatre, Melbourne. Reoently one of our representatives paid a visit to him at his office, and he courteously granted a request for a few minutes' conversation. "My life has been a varied one," said Mr Barry, " and there are but few cities and towns in Australia I have not visited. A theatrical manager has much to do mentally, and as a result I commenced to feel the strain some two years ago. Frequently I felt, mentally and physically, quite exhausted. I was also affected with neuralgia in mv head, which often seriously interfered with my duties; At night my sleep was restless and of no recuperative benefit, and my illness commenced to tell on me so seriously that I consulted a medical man. Ho told* me that my system had run down, and that I wanted a tonio. Ho gave me some pretty extensive medical advice, which developed into a large-sized bill. I would not have had any objeotion to the bill had I received any benefit ; bnt I had not ; so I tried a second medical man, with no better result than the consoling information that my evident state of debility and want of tone required me to take an extensive rest. This rest was, of course, an impossibility. Noticing my indisposition, a fellow-profes-sional suggested I should try Dr Williamß, Pink Pills. I follwed hia advice, and purohased a Bupply. After using these pills for six weeks I found myself freo from all signs of debility and its attendant ills, and fully recovered in spirits and health ; in short, " Riohard was himself again." " And you recommend them ?" " Yes, I do. If I see any member of my company showing the least signs of brain fag or being run down, I recommend a course of Dr Williams' Pink Pills, and have never known them to fail." These pills can be obtained from all chemists and storekeepers, or from the Dr Williams' Medicine Co., Wellington, N.Z., one box for 35., or six for 15s. 9d., post paid. They positively care indigestion, insomnia neuralgia, nervous prostration, general debility, sciatica, lumbago, aneemia, all female irregularitie, loss of strength, heat aud sick headaohos, effects of fevers, etc, eto. If you suffer from any ailment whatsoever, arising from a disordered or unhealthy blood, you should try a course. In youf case the oure will be just as permanent and inexpensive as in the oase of Mr Dan Barry,
