For New Plymouth the through trains run only on Tuesdays and Fridays. For Sandon a train leaves Foxton at 3.0 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays, and 1.80 p.m on Wednesday. On Thursdays and Saturdays a train leaves Foxton at 3.50 p.m. for the North. From the North — Trains arrive at Fo> toil on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fri. days at 6.35 p.m., and on Thursdays and Saturdays at 1.35 p.m. and 8.35 p.m. The train leaves Sandon on Wednesdays at 7.30 am , and on Mondays and Fridays at 9.30 a.m., arriving at Foxton on Wednasday s at 10 a.m. and on Mondays and Fridays at noon. Fob the South — A coach leaves Whyte's Hotel every morning at 5.30 a.m. for Levin, connecting with the down tram to Otaki and Wellington. The coach also connects with the up train frcm Wellington. The s.s. Queen of the South leaveß the Foxton wharf for Wellington on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, circumstances permitting. OFFICIAL DIRECTORY. Stipendiary Magistrate— Alfred Greenfield, Esq. Wangnnui, Ist Monday in March, May, Jnly, September and November. First Bitting in 1898 will bo held on 10th of January. Chamber sittings and special sittings in bankruptcy, &c, acoording to arrangement, and as einumstanoes require.
