Harrison when leaving Foxton, and which was a balance derived from the Football Sports. . Resolved, after some discussion, not to join the Manawatu Rugby Union this year, but to transfer to the Horowhenua Union, this step being thought advisable owing to the great expense to members having to travel by train so often.

The secretary was instructed to procure a new bladder for ball from Palmerston, so that practice may be indulged^ in, the season to be opened on Saturday with a scratch match. Resolved, that the expenses of advertising the annual meeting be the first debts satisfied from balance in hand.

There is every probability of a fairly strong club being got together, it being mentioned that new members were likely to be many, and some good players. Hearty votes of thanks were passed to all outgoing officers, and the meeting adjourned with a vote of thanks to the chair.
