PALMERSTON v. FOXTON.
On Saturday next a match takes place at Palmerston between six ladies of the local club and the same number of the Palmerston ladies. A good match should result, the games played on the former occasion being close, and the players pitted against each other this time being almost the same.
The following are the likely players and will play in this order : —
Palmerston. — i, Miss Rutherlurd ; 2, Miss Randolph ; 3, Mrs R. Leary ; 4, Mrs Millton; 5, Miss Hankins; 6, Miss Stanford. Emergencies — Misses Knapp ai d Smallbone.
Foxto.:.— MissPurcell, Mrs Stewart, Miss O'Brien, Miss Young, Miss Symons, Miss Collins. Emergency — Miss Collios.
O.i the same day the Palmeriton Club are playing against a team ot men from Woodville and Pahiatua at Palmerston.
