School Excursion.
TO-MORROW Tickets can be had from tbe Chair^m man of the Committee between 6. B(F^* and 8 p.m. tonight. No tickets will be issued at the station to-morrow morning. The train leaves punctually at 880 a.m., and will be a special running to the Oroua Bridge without stopping, except perhaps at Carnarvon. It is timed to be at Foxton at 7.45 p.m. As the Department only allows an pxcuraion on the Committee placing two adults in each carriage to keep children off the platforms, the Committee will place two adults in charge and they will have a red badge to denote their authority, which must be recognised. We understand that the stores will not be dosed to-morrow. The Chairman of the Dannevirke School Committee has kindly pro* mised to find hob water and also to do the best they can for the children, for which many thanks. We recommend all excursionists to bring some lunch with them.
