Entertainment at Moutoa.
On Tuesday, at the Moutoa schoolhouse, the Rev. Mr Woodward had a magic lantern entertainment, assisted by the Rev. Mr Woollass. There was a capital attendance and the evening was voted a very pleasant one, and Mr Woodward was asked to pay another visit to that part of the district before he left. There was a collection made which we understand goes to swell the Foxton Methodist Church Station fund. It is Mr Woodward's intention to give the Maoris an entertainment at Motuiti on Tuesday night. Early next week Mr Woodward purposes to give, in the Foxton Methodist schoolroom a very interesting description, with lime-light views, of his trip to Rotorua and the hot lakes, and what he saw by the way.
