School Committee.

The Foxton School Committee met this morning and decided upon holding an excursion, if possible, on the 28rd instant to Dannevirke. The committee attended at the school and explained to the scholars the proposal and desired them to mention tha matter to their parents 10 that a reply can ba brought tomorrow. The committee made it clear that there was to be ne question about the plaoe or time, but all that they desired to learn was whether the parents would like suoh an exounion to be held. The run would be through interesting country aud should be popular as the town proposed to be visited is a growing one, and a trip through the Gorge is likewise thrown in. Parents will do much to make the excursion a success by sending decisive replies by their children.
