QINCE purchasing the Manawatu Herald in 1889, it has been the aim of the management to keep the paper in advance with the times. Thus the Manawatu Herald, which was then published bi-weekly at the price of threepence was issued in 1890 as a triweekly, and the price per copy reduced to twopence.
