The Club is to be congratulated on the nominations that they have received, as not only are they in excess of those of. last year, bat they are more evenly divided between the days and races. Last year there were only 75 nominations for the first day as against 95 this year, whilst 102 were nominated for the second day last year, and 90 for thia meeting. Everything thus bids fair for a good meeting, and the acceptances are likely to be better, owing to the distribution of the entries. Weights will be declared at the end of 'the week.
