Wedding Bells.

The Advocate of Wednesday eaya : — Yesterday the Rongotea Primitive Methodist Church was crowded to witness the wedding of Mr J. B. Najrn, formerly of Mount Stewart, bat now schoolmaster at Jaokey town, to Miss 8. J. Eiley, daughter of Mr J. Broadbelt, formerly of Balls. The Church was tastefully and lavishly decorated and was in evidence of the interest taken in the wedding and a tribute to the popularity of the happy pair. The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. J. Cocker. The wedding was duly cebebrated at the residence of Mr. J jfcoadbelt, where about 70 guests ing wWttefd, after which tSe newly* married pair drove to Palmerston «* route for Napier. The bride waj dressed in a fawn-coloured dress with " hehopfcrope trimmings, and also had the usual bridal wreath and veil. Her travelling dress was a browa colour with hat to match. Tht? J bridesmaids were Miss S. J. Broa«ta£fl belt, who wore a grey coloured dr«itl§§ with green silk trimmings and a lacdpi hat with cream roses, Miss Anna^fe Broadbelt, who wore a blue oashmere dress and cream hat, and Miss Erenice Nairn, who was cjgnilarly attired. Mr T. Gib»on, of EToxton, was beat man, The presents were numerous and useful. The newlymarried pair have the best wishes of the residents cf Rongotea, where ' they are deservedly respected.
