The Wirokino Bridge.
His Worship the Mayor baa received the following letter from Mr Stevens: — . Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, 17th Dec, 1897. Sir, -I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 14tb inst , forwarding a letter addressed to you by Mr J. R. Stansell, Mayor of Foxton, in, which he asks that a copy of 8m plans, specifications, and estimate* prepared by Mr Wilson for the erection of a bridge over the Manawatu Hirer at Wirokino should be supplieJ to him. In reply I have to say that I am forwarding your letter to the Public Works Department. IMiave the honour to be, Sir, Your obedient servant, John MoKenzee, Minister of Lands. John Steven?, Esq., M.
