THE BANK OF N.Z. CIRCULAR.
10 THE IDCTOR OF THE JUJUWATO HIBAtD. Sir,— The present Government poses as the friend of the poor man, but if you will peruse the latest circular from the Bank of New Zealand (the State Bank), you will notice it costs half a guinea to look at the manager of the said bank. The circular reads to me as il the Government were trying to raise capital out of the toiUri. I am, Sec, Tort. Foxton, Nov. 80th, 1897.
