QINCE purchasing the Manawatu Herald in 1889, it has been the Kirn of the management to keep the paper in advance with the times. Thus the Manawatu Herald, which was then published bi-weekly at the price of threepence was issued in 1890 as a triweekly, and the price per copy reduced to twopence. As we have entered on Our 20th Year of Publication we have determined to make some further steps in advance, and on and after the Ist January Hext "THE MANAWATU HERALD" Will be published at ONE "DENNY. NE JZ EN N Y. We beg also to announce that as soon as our arrangements are complete, probably within a month, the Manawatu Herald will be issued in an ENLARGED FOffl, Which will add 4 Extra Columns To the paper. We have therefore no doubt that we shall still receive the strong support ofthe inhabitants of this district.
