Capt. Edwin wires to-day:— Wind N. and W. and S.W. at all places northward of Timarn and Queenstown. Barometer rise at all places northward of Napier and New Plymouth, further fall but rising after six hours elsewhere. Strong westerly winds are probable at all places northward of Timaru.
