An Extraordinary Eruption.

AN ISLAND THROWN UP. News has been received in Sydney from the East that Borneo was the scene nf a tremendous volcanic eruption off the coaßt on the 21st nit. Only slight tremors were felfr ashore. A new island has been thrown up between Menpakul and Habridan, 50 yards from the mainland, opposite Labuan. The land is oompoßed of clay and rock. Its dimensions are 200 yards by 150 yard?, and 60 feet high. It appears to be incraasing in size.
