The Horowhenua Case.

At the annual meeting of the National Association of New Zealand (Auckland seotion), Mr Bell, chairman, moved the following motion :— 44 This section o! the National Association of New Zealand reprobates in the strongest manner any attempt on the part of Ministers of the Grown to obstruct or elude the impartial administration of justice, and it calls upon Parliament atiji the people of New Zealand to prevent such a public calamity as the overriding of the decision of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in the Horowhenua land case by the Hon Minister for Lands, and it further protests against the dishonour to the colony by the attempt to evade, the judgement of the Court in the matter of the costs in the same case." The proposition was unanimously agreed to.
