TRAIN ARRGANEMENTS SUSPENDED.

Yesterday evening the 6.80 train from Palmerston arrived to time, although water covered the line ie places from Jaokeytown to Oroua Bridge, and was then a few inches over the permanent way.

This morning Mr lmrie, stationmaster at the local railway station, received instructions not to allow the usual 9.0 a.m. train for Palmerston North to leave, and consequently train arrangements are at present at a standstill.
