Foxton Racecourse Appeal Case.

In the Wanganui Supreme Court On Thursday morning Mr Fitaherb*rt mentioned the case oi Gillespie T. McCaul. Mr Hogg, lor the ap pellant, mentioned that he would not proceed with the appeal, which was therefore dismissed with £10 10s costs. The appeal was from tha deciaiotf of Mr R. L. Stanford, S.M., determined at Foxton on 80oh January last in connection with a trespass ease on the Foxton racecourse. This is very satisfactory, especially after the English decision?, and will help to make the position of the clubs with regard to bookmakers in a sure position.
