Return Visit of the Cinematographs Company.

The Cinematograph Co. have comp'.etfcd arrangements for a ona night season at the Town Hall on Tuesday, October stb, when new living pictures Will be Bhown. The Hawera Post Speaking of the return visit, says : — An unusually large attendance witnaßsed the exhibition of the CinemaL)grapbe at the Town Hall last evening. Seldom, indeed, has tbe Hall been packed with so many people, in fact it might almost be termed a record so far as the attendance was concerned, a large number being Bimply unable to obtain feat log accommodation. Of the Cinematograph itself we can heartily endorse all the eulogistic references that have been made by oar contemporaries, for the exhibition is without doubt the finest of its class that has been given in the town. The picture! were shown in an exceedingly O'ear manner and the vigorous applause which followed each scene showed that there was no lack of appreciation on Jibe part of the Hawera audience. A great number of new pictures were also exhibited during the evening, " The Sea Clave of Cornwall " was a remarkable fine B ! gbi, the breakers being most r -'alia tic ; " The Cavalry Charge of the Russian Heavy Dragoons" was exceedingly good. The horsemen were seen approaching at a gallop, when they suddenly halted and formed into an almost perfect line showing the excellent manner in which they were drilled. A fine snowballing picture, in which a cyclist played a prominent part r evidently much to his discomfiture, was exhibited and created roars of laughter. Other excellent new views included high diving at London baths, a prelty sight, arrival of a train at Epsom, the new Tower Bridge, London, and a boxing match. So great was the applause that a number of pictures had to be repeated. The explanatory remarks by Mr Tait, the lecturer, were listened to with much interest. The Public Hall ought to be crowded on Tuesday night. We would advise oar readers to secure their seats in giod time, the box office for reserve Siats is now open, were no extra charge will be made for reserving. The prices will be 2a. and Ib, children half-price.
