Eeports from Peshawar state that the outlook on the Afghan frontier is less disquieting. The tribesmen are daunted by the rapid concentration of the troops. Twelve thousand have already been concentrated in the valley of the Swat River, 7600 at Tocei, 5600 at Bawal Pindi, and 12,000 at Eobat and Peshawar. The religious leaders of the Swatis have submitted.
