Messes Abraham and Williams' Stock Report.

Oar sales for the week comprise Levin. Pahiatua and Palmerston. We had email entries at Levin. There was a good attendance, but bidding was slow under the hammer, and the scarcity of feed throughout the district is making itself felt. We disposed of all the sheep that came forward, and most of the cattle. At Pahiatua we had good entries of both sheep and cattle. Little business was done at auction, but we succeeded in quitting the bulk of the stock after the sale. At Palmerston yesterday more stock came forward than was advertised, but bidding wan very lifeless for anything except good wethers and hoggets. Ewes in lamb receded in value considerably, and dairy stock were lower than for some sales past. The following prices were realised : — Palmerston'— Sheep— Fat ewes, 9a; fat and forward do., 7s 6d ; Smooth wethers, 9s 3d to 9a 6d ; {Lincoln ewes in lamb, 7s Id ; others, 8s 9d to 58 6d ; empty ewes, 4s 63 ; hoggets, 5s 6d to 6s 9d. Cattle Fat bullocks (light weights), £4 10---to 15 ; fat oows, £2 15s ; springingcows, £4 ; 2-year steers, £2 10 ; yearling steers, S2a to 86s ; yearling heifers, 295. Lkvin.— Sheep— Mixed hoggeta, 7s 0d ; culled ewes in lamb, 5a Bd. Cattle- B^yr steers, £8 15s; 18---month cattle, 20s to 255. P^hutua.— Sheep -Fat wethers, 10a 6d to 129 ; 2 tooth wethers, 9* ; hoggets, 4s 9d to 6s lid ; oulls, 2" 10d. Cattle-Fat bullocks, £5\ 2 and 2$ year steers, £2 18? 63 to £2 Us ; 16« month steers, 87a 6d ; springers, £8s 2s 6d to £4.
