School Committee.

A meeting of the Foxton School Committee was held this morning when the chairman announced the receipt of £15 6s 7d from the Record Reign Committee. This amount places the committee in a sonnd financial position, and all accounts owing were ordered to be paid, A vote of thanks was passed to all who had assisted in making the celebration a success. Messrs Thynne and Ray were authorised to expend £2 10s in purchase of books for prizes for the boy and girl in each standard who had seonred the highest marks. Messrs Hennessy and Westwood were appointed the visiting committee for tbe month.
