Record Reign Procession and Sports.

The procession on Tuesday last in Foxton was a suooess in every way. At a little after eleven o'olock the procession commenced to get injo order, and the Marshalls, Messrs Eure and Fraser, soon had everything in ship shape form. The school children wore first called together at the school, where the headmaster and his assistants accompanied them to the startingpoint at the Post Office. The cyclists headed the procession and then came the Foxton Bras 3 Band, the Mayor, Borough Council, school children, 1.0. G.T. Lodge, and then the citizens. On the way to the grounds where the sports were to take place the band played selections. The happy faces of the great number of sohool children was a main feature of ; the procession. On arriving at t\\& gate the Mayor (J. R. Stansell, Esq.,) made a few remarks, and called on tho3e present to join in sipging the National Anthem, which w^s done right lazily. After three cheers had been given for the Queen, the Mayor opened the grounds and named "it •• Victoria Park." Mr and Mrs Stansell, the councillors present, Mr E. S. Tbyone, Rev. 6. Young,
