A Mysterious Fleet.
The captain of the brigantine Linda Weber reports at Auckland that on the 24th inst. he sighted five steamers in company, which he believed to be warships, south-west of the Kermadecs, 800 miles from Auckland. They were apparently steering south by west in the direction of New Zealand. There is no news of the squadron having left Sydney, and the. identity of. the warships is a mystery. — Press Association.
