— _ _ _ _ _ _ _ o_ — — 1 that before taking steps in the matter, plans and specifications Bhould be laid on the table, so that Crs might have a chance of inspecting game. Cr Swainson did not object to this, but thought it full time that something was done re bridging the streams. The Chairman thought it best to let the whole Council see what was being done, and if they approved of .the system, give it a trial. On the motion of Cr Swainson, seconded by Cr Freeman, it was resolved — That Crs Swainson and Bartholomew be authorised to draw up specifications for the construction of a low-level bridge over the Waikawa stream, at a cost not to exceed £40, subject to a £ for £ subsidy on the amount being obtained from the Government.
