The election of officers of the " Try Again " Lodge for the current quarter was held on Thursday as follows :— O.T., Br. A. Morgan ; V. T., Sis. N. -Walker; T., Br. T. Westwood ; F. 8., Br. M. Walker ; 0., Br. E. Westwood; M., Br. G. Collins. The appointment of secretary was, in the absence of certain members, postponed till the next night of meeting. The report of the outgoing secretary, which showed that the Lodge is in a flourishing condition, and that the finance is particularly so, was read and adopted. The number in attendance on Thursday was very large, and the interest taken by the members in the pro* gresa of the cause is unabated. Bco. W. S. Stowart has been appointed L.D. for the current year by the Grand Lodge.
