The Bombay health authorities have offered to inoculate persons free of charge with the lymph discovered by Professor Haffkine, to be a protection against attacks of the plague. The British delegates in Paris have informed the Sanitary Conference that pilgrimages from India to Mecca have been prohibited. The Conference has requested the other Powers to endeavour to prevent similar trips.
