The Angoni Zulus, under their chief Chikusi, burned the Ntunda 1 Mission Station at Lake Nyassa, killed the missionaries, and ocoupied the Btations. The inhabitants of the villages in the Upper Shire District have been massacred. . - '■ , The enemy are raiding in three columns,, and in consequence of their strength some uneasiness ia frit at Blantyre. The Labour Bureau at Johannesburg reports a large increase of the unemployed, especially among those who have no trade. A procession of Roman Catholics attacked the German Consulate at Delagoa because two Mussulman servants refused to uncover as it went by. Two German cruisers have been ordered to the port. The Chief Chikusi, head of the Angoni Zulus, who is creating a disturbance in Central Africa, is said to have 80,000 warriors at his command.
