The Artist is a beautiful bay, 6yrs old; stands 1 finds. 2in., possesses good flat bone, and has a beautiful temper. As a rtioehorse he has proved himself an excellent performer. Amongst his numerous wins are the Woodville Handioap, beating that brilliant mare Lorelei, who divided second honors ; the Flying and Wanganui Stakes at the W.J.O. Spring Meeting last year, and the Metropolitan Handicap at the O.J.C. Spring Meeting 1895, covering the 1 J miles in 2min 38sec. TERMS— Single mare £4; two or more as per agrpement.
