The Football Sports.

■ » On Tuesday afternoon the Sportfl which are open to members of the Foxton Football Club and the residents of Foxton, will be held on the racecourse. It is extremely probable that a very pleasant afternoon's amusement will be provided as there are thirteen events, aud the acceptances for those races which are not poet-entry are very good and therefore all the other races are likely to be as well comtested. The prizes are not large, the sports being purely local, but they are large enough to bt worth winning and therefore will be well striven for. There are boys' and girls' races. The entrance to the ground is but a silver coin and small at that. We hope to sea a good attendance of spectators.
