The Methodist Picnic.
The Methodists had an enjoyable picnic in Me E. Oaborne'a grounds yesterday, and the weathor being beautiful everyone had a good time. The children marched from the ohurch-rooin to the ground in pro cession, headed by their banner carried by four of the biggest boys. On the ground lunch was taken, and then there were games, then tea and short addresses. Cheers were given for Mr and Mrs Osborne, not forgetting the little Osbornea. In the evening thtre was a meeting of the Christian Endeavour Society Social, at which Miss Lamb, s> late member of the Society, was presented with a copy of Wesley's hymns and tunes.
