Ladies and Gentlemen, — T_J A VING been asked by a largo number of the Electors to contest the Manawatu Beat, it is therefore my intention to comply with the request of my friends, and as scion as Parliament is prorogued, I will take th e earliest opportunity of addressing you upon Bo^pe of the political questions of the day. Ladies and Gentlemen,— Owing to the alterations in the Electoral boundaries, and in re spouse to numerous requests from all parts of the Electorate, I have decided to contest the Manawatu Seat. By Somnus Lady Art st, by The Painter— Policy. The Aktist is by one of Traducer's stoutest sons — Somnus — sira of Dudu (thrice winner of the Wanganui Cup), Foxton (thrice winner of the Rangitikei Handicap), Rangiatea, Rainbow, and many other splendid performer^. The Artist is a beautiful bay, 6yrs old, stands lfihds. 2in., pos- , sesees good flat bone, and has a beautiful temper. As a racehorse he has proved himself an excellent performer. Amongst his numerous wins are the Woo^ville Handicap, beating that brilliant mare Lorelei, who divtfed second honora ; the Flying and Wanganui Stakes at the W J.C Spring Meeting last year, aud tho Metropolitan Handicap at the C.J.C.
