Nominations for all events, except Polo Cap, close on Tuesday, October 6tb, at 9 pm. Handicaps to appear on Tuesday, Octobor 13th. Acceptances, and entry for Polo Cup, dose on Tuesday, October 20th, at 9 p.m. C. C MILES, Sfcretary. RULES AND REGULATIONS. All ponies to be mea r ured bqfnn; starting. Nominators must state the bona fide owner of horses. Previous performances of the horsrs to be given at time of nomination, also colors of the riders. All horses must be ridden and driven out. If distanced by first horse, second and third money wi'l bo paid to ihe winner. All protests to bs accompanied by a fee of 2 soys., to be forfeited if the protest is not sustained. All disputes and objections arising out of the Racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, -whose decision shall be final, and shall not be ' questioned in any Court of Law. Entries only received on this condition. To be run under the Rues of the-North and South Island Trotting Associations of New Zealand.
