Egypt.
Two thousand troops have been sent by tha Kbalifa to Dongola to reinforce those already there. Two Cairo newspapers have been suppressed for publishing comments which are regarded as an insult to Queen Victoria. General Valler, who is with the Italian forces in Abyssinia, is treating' wi:h King Menelek for the release ef the Italian prisoners, and for the conclusion of a treaty of peace. The British advance on Dongola is expected to occupy until somewhere about October.
