How to Make Beeswax.

After the combs have been put through an extractor or orushed and strained through a thin cloth the wax is pnt in a copper or porcelain lined kettle, with cold water enough to cover it, and boiled for half an hoar or longer, if it seems necessary. Where the wax is taken from the store it is strained and put in a vessel previously dipped in cold water. To make a round cake of beeswax pour the melted wax in a bowl which has been dipped in water. This will render it easy to be removed. To make wax sheets use a board threeeighths of an inch thiok dampened with warm water, then dipped in the melted wax two or three times. Next immerse the board in water to cool it, after whioh turn the edges with a sharp knife and peel off the two sheets of wax. If the wax is too hot, the sheets will craok.
