Church Social.

To-morrow night, at the Public Hail, the tea and concert in connection with the Church of England will be held. The tea is bound to be good, as the ladies are renowned for tha good things they provide. The concert is also to be relied upon as first class musicians have the care of that. The concert will be interspersed with picturesque tableaux, and from what one can learn about them they will alone be worth the small price charged for admission. To crown all, to make a good gathering assured, this opportunity will be taken to bid farewell to the Bey. George and Mrs Aitkens who, at the end of the month, leave for Hawera. The ladies, with their usual thoughtfulness, have decided to present a small souvenir to Mr and Mrs Aitkens, which will make a pleasing item in the already capital programme. We ought to see a crowd present.
