The House agreed to the Council's amendments in the Westport Har» hour Board Loan Bill. The Orchard and Garden Pests Bill was read a second time and referred to the Stock Committee.
The second reading of the Juvenile Depravities Suppression Bill was read a second time and referred to the Native Affairs Committee.
The Advances to Settlers Act Amendment Bill was discussed at some length, and the second reading agreed to. _
