A GENERAL STORE Competent judges say this is the best stand in Foxton for a general store on account of its large frontage • (about 240 ft.), and its proximity to the wharf and railway station. A CARPENTER A good tradesman could build on such a prominent corner a shop that would be a standing advertseraent as to the work he would be prepared to do for his clients. A TAILOR The position of ihe windows are such that a Customer would have the advantage of comparing the effect of the. different shades of light on the Tweeds, &c, before deciding. A SADDLER All Leather Goods could be exposed for sale in the Clyde-street window quite away from the sun, while in Main-street could be shown s'irrup irons, bits, whips, plough chains, &c, and a trade might be worked up Burprizingly. A PAINTER What parf£of the townjcould a Painter display his skill upon better than at this Premier stand ? A CHEMIST Our local Chemist has shown his good judgment in building as near to this as possible— but oh llf he had only built on it !
