♦ In this issue the above well known Fire Assurance Company •'notify that they have appointed Mr Alf. Fraser agent for Foxton and the district. The company was established in 1824, and has a capital and reserves of eight and three-quarter million pounds. Therefore we Bhould look upon the Company as good enough to pay any risks they may take. The appointment of agent is a well advised one, as Mr Fraser is widely known and haa shown himself a steady and pushing business man. We expect to record a large business done by this company in this district, at the end of
