The Royal Automatons.
T— • Last night the above show opened at the Publio HalL Owing to the extremely cold night a very large audience did not greet the rising of the curtain. The Automatons ar* worked by Professor Melos and hif assistants and all went well for a time when, unfortunately, one Auto* maton suffered, muoh after tbt fashion of the real original artiole, by the shaking of the railway and some part of is works gave way* The dootor attached to tha company did his best to repair the subjeot but it was found the patient needed longer attention and rest, so part of the programme had to be shortened. The manager promised it should be all right by thia afternoon. The farce is very amusing and will probably •« catch on " this evening. To finish the time last night some songs were sung. The show should be seen as it a decided novelty.
